  1. I took a canned food can and planted a watermelon in it so i can flood it and it can absorb water when im in school and cant water it. I have another watermelon plant and the flower died but the base of it has a small melon coming out. Is the can thing good, cuz i live in a hot tropiocal area that evaporates water from the ground quickly

  2. Watermelons need well-drained soil so a sandier-than-average soil is really useful, but you certainly still need the soil itself to provide the nutrients for the watermelons.
